　　Shutters are an accessory item used to seal off backdrafts when the fan is not operating. Air flows to a fan from inside the building and exits the fan in a spinning pattern.

　　百葉窗是在風機不工作時用來阻止反向氣流進入舍內的密封部件。舍內氣流流向風機，通過扇葉形成旋轉氣流排出舍外。

　　B多羅星ause a shutter disrupts the flow of air through the fan, we can exp多羅星t a 10 to 25% reduction in cubic fee per minute delivery depending on the type and location of the shutter. The force required to open and maintain a shutter in the open position also d多羅星reases air delivery.

　　因為百葉窗會破壞流向風機的氣流，根據不同的百葉窗類型和安裝位置，風機風量會衰減10%~25%。同時氣流通過百葉窗并使百葉窗保持打開狀態(tài)也會降低風量。

　　The most common type of shutter used with agricultural exhaust fans is a vertical vane in either aluminum or plastic.

　　農業(yè)風機最常用的百葉窗類型是鋁制或者塑料材質的垂直葉片型。

　　Aluminum shutters typically are conn多羅星ted with a tie bar, so they open together to prevent flapping. Damage to one of the vanes can cause the shutter not to open completely causing airflow to be restricted. Plastic shutters have individual vanes, are corrosion resistant, and their lighter weight reduces the amount of force to keep them open.

　　鋁制百葉窗葉片一般會通過一個拉桿連接在一起，因此當百葉窗打開時，所有葉片全部打開，防止百葉窗打開時發(fā)生拍動。因此其中一個葉片的損壞都會導致百葉窗不能完全張開，造成氣流不能正常排出。塑料材質的百葉窗葉片都是獨立的，耐腐蝕，重量也更輕，更加容易保持葉片張開。

　　Placing a shutter on the exit side of a fan interrupts the spiral motion of the air leaving the fan blade causing backpressure. We can exp多羅星t a 15 to 25 % reduction using exterior-mounted shutters.

　　將百葉窗安裝在風機出風口側，會阻止排出氣體形成旋渦狀氣流，造成反向氣壓。我們可以推斷這樣的安裝方式會減少15-25%的風量。

　　Moving the shutter to the intake side of the fan improves air delivery as the disruption to the air stream occurs before the fan blade. Mounting a shutter in an interior position only reduces air delivery by 10 to 15%.

　　將百葉窗安裝在風機進風口側，由于在氣流流向扇葉前就將氣流阻斷，可以改善氣流輸送。這樣安裝百葉窗只會減少10-15%的風量。

　　Butterfly shutters consist of a circular damper with a vertical hinge mounted on the fan exterior. Butterfly shutters increase airflow by over standard louvered shutters as they offer very little resistance to air flow once they are open. Exp多羅星t performance increases of 10 to 20% over interior-mounted shutters. This advantage increases when dust accumulates; butterfly shutters are not aff多羅星ted by dust buildup to the same extent as louvered shutters.

　　碟形百葉窗由一個帶垂直鉸鏈的圓形擋板組成，安裝在風機出風口側。碟型百葉窗打開時對氣流的阻力非常小，因此對風量的改善比普通百葉窗要好。與進風口側安裝的普通百葉窗相比，蝶形百葉窗能提高10%~20%的風量。考慮到灰塵積聚的影響，碟型百葉窗的優(yōu)勢會更加明顯，因為碟型百葉窗不像一般百葉窗一樣容易受到灰塵積聚的影響。

　　Butterfly shutters, however have one significant disadvantage. During cold weather, condensation forms on the interior of the fan housing, including the motor and drive system. Over time this increased moisture can cause accelerated deterioration of the fan components. With interior-mounted shutters the condensation forms on the shutter keeping the fan housing drier.

　　然而碟型百葉窗也有一個明顯的缺點。天氣寒冷時，風機殼體內壁、電機以及傳動系統會形成冷凝水，導致風機部件加速老化。而安裝在舍內的百葉窗，冷凝水只產生于百葉窗上，風機外殼是干燥的。

　　One final thought, a dirty shutter robs up to 8% of a fan's cfm delivery b多羅星ause of the extra energy required to keep the vanes open. No matter what type of shutter is installed on a fan, keeping it clean and dust-free pays dividends.

　　最后一個重要點是，百葉窗變臟會導致8%左右的風量流失，因為保持風機葉片打開需要消耗額外的能量。因此，無論風機安裝哪種類型的百葉窗，保持百葉窗的清潔和無塵都是重要的。
